India Turns Pink is India’s largest non-profit movement dedicated to women’s wellness and breast cancer awareness.

It began in 2003 as “Chennai Turns Pink”, with the mission of spreading awareness on early detection of breast cancer and offering free breast cancer screening to women. What started in Chennai soon expanded to other cities like Madurai, Coimbatore, Tuticorin, Puducherry, and many more.

In 2016, the initiative transformed into “India Turns Pink”, reflecting its vision to reach women across the nation. Over the past decade, India Turns Pink has partnered with Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Kalyanmayee to organize nationwide breast cancer awareness campaigns and screening drives.

Today, India Turns Pink stands as a 10-year-old movement that has touched millions of lives. With the upcoming 10th year of Pinktober 2025, the campaign sets its biggest goal yet – reaching 10 million households through its “10 Million Moms” initiative. This includes:

Pink Selfie Campaigns for awareness.

Free breast cancer screenings at airports, communities, and public spaces.

Digital and offline programs for women’s health and early detection.

Our mission is simple but powerful:
💗 “Early Detection Saves Lives.”
