Igor Benincá

Igor Benincá is a Data Science Manager and Data Product Manager at Indicium since March 2022, leading an agile team focused on designing cloud solutions for ELT pipelines, BI applications, and DataOps. Previously, Igor held the position of Data Project Manager at Indicium, overseeing data transformation and visualization efforts while bridging business users and the data engineering team. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at Werkzeugmaschinenlabor, WZL der RWTH Aachen, focusing on Machine Data Analytics, and as a System and Software Developer intern at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT, where software was developed for data acquisition systems. Igor also gained valuable experience through internships and research fellowships, including work at Fundação CERTI and CNPq, specializing in software development for manufacturing solutions and data analysis. Igor holds an Engineer's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and a visiting project student degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
