Pipit is a music discovery and support platform built for independent artists and the fans who want to find them.

The platform exists because the current model isn't really working for either side. Streaming turned music discovery into something algorithms decide for you. Artists get paid almost nothing per stream, and fans who genuinely love a song have no real way to turn that love into something the artist can use.

Pipit addresses both problems. On the discovery side, fans can create a Discover Wave™ to search for music by sound, mood, tempo, vocals, lyrics, and other dimensions. On the support side, fans can send feathers, which are small direct-support units that go straight to the artist. Each feather is worth one dollar, and artists keep all of it.

The goal is to make discovery and support the same gesture. Fans find artists they love, stay with them over time, and those artists get to make a living because of it.
