Dan Even

Dan Even is the Founder and CEO of Asterix Foods and involved with IndieBio San Francisco Batch 13 since August 2022. Previously, Dan served as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Fantastic Farms Ltd from November 2019 to July 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing technological activities, developing R&D plans, and managing multinational CRO teams. Dan has also contributed to academia as a Board Member and Lecturer at Tel Aviv University from October 2015 to December 2019, focusing on immunology and genetic engineering, and as a Teaching Assistant in molecular biology courses. Dan's research experience includes a visiting scientist role at the John Innes Centre and an associate researcher position at Meir Medical Center, specializing in cancer research. Dan holds a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and advanced degrees in Biotechnology and Biology from Tel Aviv University.
