indielux is Berlin's pioneer of plug-and-play solar energy. Since 2014, we've been developing technologies that make solar power accessible to every household – without an electrician, without bureaucracy, without rewiring.
Through nine years of work in the German Solar Energy Society's PVplug working group, our managing director Marcus Vietzke helped shape the VDE standards for plug-in solar devices. Today, more than 1.2 million plug-in solar units in Germany legally feed power into the grid.
With ready2plugin, we've taken the next step: the only patented safety technology that allows solar systems with more than 7,000 Wp and a battery storage to be safely connected via a standard household socket. Tested as "successful in real-world conditions" by Fraunhofer ISE. Patents granted in Germany, France, Switzerland, the UK, the US, China, India, and Brazil – until 2038.
