Rob O'Dell has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Rob began their career as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1990. Rob then moved to AT&T as a Product Manager from 1993 to 1997. After that, they worked at BT INS as a Solutions Director from 1997 to 2007, where they played a key role in the expansion of the Microsoft consulting practice. O'Dell then joined Advaiya in 2007 as the VP of Solutions until 2014. Currently, they are the President of Indigo Slate, where they drive growth and strategic management of operations and intellectual property. Rob has also provided strategic consulting for clients such as Microsoft, Boeing, and Alaska Airlines.

Rob O'Dell attended Vanderbilt University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a BSE degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics. Rob then pursued further education at the University of Michigan from 1988 to 1990 and graduated with an MS degree in EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science).
