Ke Liu

Ke Liu is a Senior Scientist I at Indigo since March 2022, with prior experience as a Staff Scientist and Group Lead at Agricen Sciences, Inc. from May 2017 to March 2022. In this role, Ke Liu led the study of biostimulants under abiotic stress conditions, focusing on characterizing tolerance mechanisms using transcriptomic and metabolomic technologies. Previous positions include Staff Scientist, where product discovery and bioassay development for environmentally-friendly fungicides and nematicides were key responsibilities, and Research Associate III, concentrating on the research and development of Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). Ke Liu also served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Riverside, and completed a postdoc at Auburn University, where efforts involved using PGPR for plant growth promotion and disease control. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Auburn University, a Master’s degree from Henan Agricultural University, and a Bachelor's degree in Plant Protection and Integrated Pest Management from the same institution.
