Alejandro Pertusa

Alejandro Pertusa is an experienced sustainability professional currently serving as the Ecosystems & Biodiversity Strategy Lead at Inditex since October 2021, where responsibilities include defining and promoting biodiversity strategies through value chain mitigation and ecosystem protection. Previously, Alejandro worked at Tempe Grupo Inditex for over a decade in various roles, including Supply Chain Sustainability Manager and Manager of Supply Chain Compliance, focusing on human rights and environmental performance. Alejandro also has a background in academia as a lecturer on sustainability and corporate social responsibility at Fundesem Business School and has contributed to various sustainability initiatives throughout a career spanning over 15 years, including consulting and research positions. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Social Anthropology from SOAS University of London and a Postgraduate in Sustainable Value Chains from the University of Cambridge, among other degrees in related fields.
