Individually Wrapped Films is an award-winning, director-led production company dedicated to telling powerful, human-centered stories that leave a lasting impact. Founded by Emmy-winning filmmaker Mark Jacobs, the company brings decades of experience in documentary, scripted, and broadcast television to every project—melding cinematic artistry with uncompromising authenticity.

From the frontlines of Desert Storm and the Bosnian conflict as a photojournalist to directing and producing over 55 television, film, and documentary projects, Mark’s career reflects an unmatched breadth of storytelling experience. His work is defined by a deep respect for history, an instinct for narrative truth, and an ability to draw out the humanity at the heart of every subject.

Our recent and upcoming productions reflect this mission: Inspiration of a Hero: The Story of Joe Louis, a feature biopic celebrating one of America’s most legendary athletes; This Life, After All, a feature documentary honoring the life and legacy of James O. Page, the father of modern EMS; Changing Faces, a raw and moving exploration of personal redemption; and Jesse’s Story, an internationally acclaimed documentary on resilience, loss, and hope.

With a trusted network of world-class crew, industry partners, and subject matter experts, Individually Wrapped Films delivers stories from concept through final cut—combining creative vision with production excellence. We believe every story deserves to be told with care, truth, and respect.

At Individually Wrapped Films, we create more than films—we craft legacies that preserve history, elevate the human story, and inspire lasting change.
