Saskia Young

Saskia Young has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Saskia began their career as Vice President at Paramount Pictures, working in Lynda Obst Productions from 2005 to 2007. Saskia then transitioned into the political field, starting with roles at Obama for America - California as Deputy Regional Field Director from June 2012 to November 2012, and later joining the Presidential Inaugural Committee as State Organizing Lead for the National Day of Service from December 2012 to January 2013. Saskia also worked as a Finance Consultant/Voter List Manager for Lots of People Who Support Eric Garcetti from March 2013 to May 2013.

Continuing their political involvement, Saskia had roles at Organizing for Action as the CA Grassroots Fundraising Manager from October 2013 to December 2013, and as a California Climate Change Issue Organizer from July 2013 to September 2013. Saskia then joined KCRW as a Campaign Major Gifts Officer from December 2013 to June 2014, and subsequently worked at Airbnb as a Regional Mobilization Manager from July 2014 to March 2016.

In 2016, Saskia joined Hillary for America, serving as the Southern California Field Director from March 2016 to May 2016, and later as the California State Field Director from May 2016 to November 2016. Saskia then moved to Swing Left, where they worked as the Director of Swing Left Academy from June 2017 to August 2019.

Currently, Saskia works as the Associate Organizing Director at Indivisible Project starting from August 2019.

Saskia Young has attended Northwestern University but their degree, field of study, and the duration of their enrollment are unknown.
