David Batchelor

David Batchelor is an experienced educator and music technician with a diverse background in teaching and music performance. Currently serving as the Deputy Lead Instructor at Indtai, Inc since October 2022, David manages a team of over 70 instructors focused on preparing army recruits for the ASVAB. David has also held various teaching roles, including Music/Chorus Teacher at East Point Academy and Adjunct Professor of Music at Winthrop University, alongside directing choirs at Ridge View High School. Additionally, David has established a career as a piano technician since 2005. David holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition from the University of South Carolina and has been actively involved in music composition and direction in various capacities, including founding Artistic Director of Columbia Schubertiads and Artistic Director for Classical Revolution Columbia.
