Sunil Bala

Sunil Bala has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Sunil started their career in 1990 as a Principal at Marasco Newton Group and worked there until 1996. From 1996 to 1998, they worked as a Senior Associate at Putnam Hayes & Bartlett, Inc. Sunil then moved on to Harbour Consulting LLC, a subsidiary of Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman, LLP, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer from 1998 to 1999. Subsequently, from 1999 to 2001, they held the position of Chief Information Officer at dotRisk Limited. In 2001, they took on the role of Chairman at B2 Technology & Consulting Services, Inc. In the same year, they also began working as the Executive Director of Indtai, Inc., a position they still hold.

Sunil Bala's education history begins in 1985 when they enrolled at Virginia Tech for a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Science & Engineering. Sunil completed this program in 1987. Following this, Sunil pursued a Master of Urban Affairs at Virginia Tech, which they successfully obtained in 1989. Not stopping there, Sunil continued their education journey at Virginia Tech and earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Design & Planning in 1994.
