Suman Chanda

Suman Chanda has diverse work experience in the IT industry. Suman started their career as a Trainee Tester at Webtek Labs Pvt. Ltd. in 2008. Suman then worked as a Test Engineer at Akros Technology Pvt. Ltd. from 2009 to 2010, where they focused on testing ongoing projects and ensuring quality control. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Software Tester at SENABI Infotech Limited, where they continued their work in testing and maintenance while also developing test plans and use cases.

Suman then joined Acumen Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. in 2011 as a Software Test Lead, where they managed ongoing projects and led a testing team. Suman also contributed to business scope analysis and project analysis and planning. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a System Analyst at Shield Watch IT & Web Services, where they participated in CMMI (Level – 3) implementation and served as a member of the EPG team. Suman managed ongoing projects, conducted business scope analysis, and prepared SRS, Functional Specifications, and Project proposals.

Most recently, Suman has been working at Indus Net Technologies since 2016 as a Business Analyst. In this role, they are involved in pre-sales business analysis and is responsible for preparing technical and financial proposals.

Throughout their career, Suman has gained experience in various aspects of IT, including testing, project management, business analysis, and proposal preparation. Suman has also acquired expertise in CMMI implementation and quality control.

Suman Chanda's education history begins with their high school education at Rahara Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home High School from 1989 to 1999. After completing high school, Suman pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree in Economics from Vidyasagar College, University of Calcutta, which they completed from 2001 to 2004.

Continuing their education, Suman then enrolled in West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, where they earned a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree specializing in Computer Software and Media Applications. This degree was obtained from 2004 to 2007.

To enhance their skills in the field of software testing, Suman attended WebTek School of Software Testing from 2008 to 2009, earning a Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) certification. Additionally, Suman has obtained additional certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in May 2023 and Agile Scrum Master (ASM®) from Simplilearn in April 2023.
