Scott Penton

Scott Penton has a diverse work experience in the fields of information systems security, information assurance, and system analysis. Scott started their career as a Leading Chief for Communications Divisions in the US Navy. Scott then served in various roles, including Departmental SEL, Command IAM, HIPPA, and Departmental Senior Enlisted Leader, at the US Navy Naval Medical Center, where they provided support in network setup and maintenance. Scott also worked as a Senior System Analyst at Gryphon Technologies, LC, where they analyzed modernization efforts and streamlined technical performance. Scott later joined INDUS Technology, Inc. as an Information Assurance Engineer, where they specialized in risk management and provided support to the Office of the Navy Security Control Assessor. Scott also worked as a Senior Consultant at CSA Guidance Consulting, where they advised on undersea dominance and integrated command and control systems. Most recently, they worked as an Information Security Engineer at AMERICAN SYSTEMS and is currently employed as a Senior Information Systems Security Officer at BAE Systems, Inc.

Scott Penton received an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Central Texas College in 2004. In May 2022, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
