Jay Cooper is an experienced VFX professional with a career spanning several decades in the visual effects industry. Since December 1998, Jay has held various supervisory roles at Industrial Light & Magic, including VFX Supervisor, Compositing Supervisor, and Sequence Supervisor, alongside work as a Digital Compositor. Prior to this, Jay worked at Rythm and Hues as an Inferno Artist and at Sony Pictures Imageworks as a Digital Compositor, both in 1998. Earlier experience includes a position as a Digital Compositor at Cinesite from 1994 to 1997. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from James Madison University, attended New York University for further studies from 1993 to 1994.
