Michael Midlock

Michael Midlock is a seasoned animation professional who has worked at Industrial Light & Magic since 2010, currently serving as the Department Head of Animation in San Francisco. They have contributed to notable projects such as "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "The Mandalorian," while also holding positions as an Animation Supervisor and Senior Animator. Prior to this, Michael gained experience as a Senior Animator at LucasArts and as a Character Animator at Calabash Animation, contributing to iconic works like "Space Jam" and "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II." They also taught as an Animation Instructor at the Academy of Art University from 2010 to 2016, after earning a BA in Visual Communication Design from Purdue University.
