Thomas Cant is a Senior FX Technical Director at Industrial Light & Magic, where they have been since 2025. Previously, Thomas held various positions in the visual effects industry, including Senior FX TD at Mill Film and Important Looking Pirates VFX, as well as roles at Rising Sun Pictures, where they served as a Houdini Instructor and FX Artist for major projects like *Game of Thrones* and *Thor: Ragnarok*. Thomas began their career in animation as a 3D Animator at The People's Republic of Animation before transitioning to FX roles at Method Studios. They earned a Bachelor of Design Studies in Architecture from the University of Adelaide from 2008 to 2010.
