I run Industry Laser as a solo consultancy at the intersection of laser technology, commercial strategy and safety. I work with investors, start‑ups, OEMs and end‑users to turn advanced laser and photonics innovation into sustainable revenue and robust supply chains.

Rather than just selling hardware, I plug into clients’ teams as an independent partner – scouting technology, validating vendors, building relationships with decision‑makers and de‑risking adoption in real manufacturing, medical, defence and aerospace environments.

What I do:

- Strategy & commercialisation – positioning, go‑to‑market and execution support for laser and photonics ventures in the UK and Europe.

- Market intelligence & customer discovery – targeted scouting at industry events, curated meetings and direct conversations with manufacturing decision‑makers.

- Technical due diligence for investors – independent assessment of laser and photonics technologies, scalability, IP and competitive positioning.

- Sales development & representation – relationship‑led business development for laser systems, components and enabling technologies (including diagnostics and beam profiling) into UK and European markets.

- Laser safety & compliance – helping laser users protect their workforce, align with evolving standards and embed safety into system design and operations.

Typical domains include industrial welding and cutting, ultrafast and research lasers, medical and life‑science photonics, defence and aerospace systems, and the surrounding supply chain of optics, diagnostics and controls.

If you need an independent laser specialist to explore opportunities, validate technology or open doors with the right people, I’d be happy to talk.
