Derek Griffiths

Derek Griffiths is an experienced professional in project management and business development, currently serving as the Queensland Government Account Director at InEight since September 2020. In this role, Derek assists capital project owners and construction companies in addressing significant project challenges through an integrated project controls platform. Prior to InEight, Derek held various leadership positions, including Executive Director at Dekamus, Director of Strategic Growth at RedEye Apps, General Manager at Auxilium Systems, and sales roles at Scantech International, focusing on negotiating large turnkey project tenders for the mining and mineral processing industries. Earlier career milestones include founding Matis Benelux and serving as a Senior Business/Engineering Manager at ALTEN Belgium. Derek holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
