Matthew Hess

Matthew Hess has extensive work experience in various roles related to information security, networking, and engineering. Matthew began their career in 1988 as a SSGT KC-130 Flight Engineer in the USMC, where they served until 2000. Following their military service, Matthew joined Uhaul in 2004 as a Communications Manager, a position they held until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as an Application and Network Engineer at IVEDA Solutions. In 2016, Matthew joined InEight Inc., first as a Senior Cloud Security and Network Engineer until 2017, and then as the Director of Information Security.

Matthew Hess completed their education chronologically, starting with their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute. Matthew attended from 2004 to 2006 and focused on subjects such as system, networking, and LAN/WAN management. Subsequently, Matthew attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information System Security from the University of Advancing Technology. Matthew specialized in Network Security and Defense during their time at the university, completing their studies from 2006 to 2009.
