David Thompson

David Thompson serves as the CEO of INEOS O&P Asia since August 2022 and holds the position of Group Procurement Director at INEOS Europe AG since September 2006. Previously, David Thompson was the CEO of INEOS Trading & Shipping from October 2014 to December 2022 and served as Procurement Director at INEOS O&P Europe North from July 2011 to August 2022. Additional roles include Director at Lausanne Hockey Club from September 2016 to June 2021, President of FC Lausanne-Sport from November 2017 to March 2019, and Investor Relations Director at INEOS Group Holdings SA from 2008 to 2011. David Thompson also led INEOS Films and Compounds as CEO from 2005 to 2008 and was Commercial Director at EVC from 2001 to 2004. Early career experience includes serving as Managing Director of James Robinson Ltd from 1993 to 2001. David Thompson holds a Master of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Cranfield University.
