Nelson Kan

Nelson Kan is a Senior Acetyls Optimisation Engineer at INEOS, a position held since January 2021, and previously served in the same capacity at BP from November 2012 to December 2020, where responsibilities included providing technical support and leading performance improvement initiatives for acetic acid plants in Malaysia and China. Prior to BP, Nelson Kan worked at Croda from April 2009 to October 2012 as a Project/Process Engineer, overseeing the design of a low viscosity alkoxylation manufacturing facility and managing various capital expenditure projects. Nelson Kan holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, earned between 2004 and 2008.
