Robert Sokol

Robert Sokol possesses extensive financial expertise, currently serving as CFO at INEOS Oligomers since December 2005, overseeing a significant international chemicals business with a $1.5 billion turnover, six manufacturing sites, and a workforce of 500 employees. Sokol’s previous experience includes a brief tenure as a landman at Cypress Exploration in 2013 and a long-standing career at BP Chemicals from June 1982 to December 2005, culminating in the role of Director of Internal Reporting, with various finance roles in international locations such as London, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Chicago, and Atlanta. Additionally, Sokol held the position of Finance Director at BP between 1997 and 2001. Academic qualifications include a degree from Texas State University, earned from 1979 to 1982.
