Thomas Clause

Thomas Clause is a Production Engineer at INEOS, specializing in the operation of a continuous Glycol Ethers unit within an Ethylene Oxide Derivatives plant since February 2024. Responsibilities include leading process hazard analyses, conducting root cause investigations, and implementing projects to enhance safety, quality, and production. Previous experience includes internships at BASF, where Thomas managed a heat exchanger project and contributed to process improvements, and ChampionX, where process improvement initiatives were led and significant cost savings were generated. Thomas also held various roles related to equipment management and research while pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, expected to be completed in 2024.
