Tom Pickering

Tom Pickering is an experienced leader in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Property and Services Director and COO of INEOS Upstream (Shale) since December 2013. Tom previously operated as an Unconventional Resource Consultant at Pickering URC, where consultancy services supported onshore E&P companies across Europe and Africa. Tom has held key positions including Chief Operating Officer at Hutton Energy Ltd, Managing Director at Geometric COFOR Limited, and was instrumental in the establishment of the Surface Management Department at Composite Energy Ltd. His educational background includes an MA in Management Studies from the University of Aberdeen and participation in the INEOS International Managers Programme at the London Business School. Tom's extensive experience encompasses project management, strategic expansion support, and community engagement within the unconventional gas sector.
