John Torr is the Founder and CEO of Inephany, a venture-backed deep tech AI lab focused on enhancing AI system efficiency and intelligence. They previously worked at Apple as a Language Engineer and Machine Learning Research Engineer for Siri, where they contributed to various projects, including fine-tuning Apple's internal foundation models. John also held positions as a Research Scientist at Wluper and as a research intern at Nuance Communications. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the University of Cambridge in 2013.
