Andreas Svahn has extensive experience in political and administrative roles, having served as Politisk handläggare at Sveriges riksdag from January 2004 to January 2005, and as District Ombudsman for Socialdemokraterna from 2005 to 2013. Andreas held the position of Kommunstyrelseordförande in Hallsbergs kommun from 2013 to February 2017 and has been the Regionråd and Chair of the Regionstyrelsen at Region Örebro län from February 2017 until September 2025. Currently, Andreas serves as Chair of the Board at Inera AB since June 2023 and as Styrelseordförande at Sydnärkes Utbildningsförbund since March 2025. Additionally, Andreas briefly worked as Regionchef for Sverige i europa from April to November 2003 and as Förbundskassör for SSU from February 2000 to January 2004. Andreas holds degrees in Statskunskap and U-landskunskap from Uppsala universitet and in Statsvetenskap and Nationalekonomi from Lunds universitet, alongside a Naturvetenskapligt program diploma from Alléskolan.
