INERGIO is a Swiss cleantech company providing clean, reliable, and cost-efficient power for critical off-grid operations. Our compact fuel cell systems are designed to operate in remote and challenging environments where autonomy, low maintenance, and consistent performance are essential.

Built on proprietary Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) technology, INERGIO’s systems deliver silent operation, zero toxic emissions, and long-lasting autonomy. Our flagship fuel cell runs on standard propane, a non-toxic, affordable, widely available fuel. The system can be adapted to hydrogen and other fuels, making it a flexible and future-ready solution.

Engineered for reliability in harsh conditions, INERGIO’s technology is designed to meet the demanding needs of applications such as mobile surveillance (CCTV), oil and gas infrastructure, and off-grid traffic management. Our fuel cell systems offer a dependable and autonomous power source where stability and performance are critical.

Founded in 2020 as a spin-off from EPFL and HEIG-VD, INERGIO is scaling up production in Renens, Switzerland, to meet growing global demand.
