Arnaud BORDES is a Battery Safety Engineer at INERIS since January 2018, specializing in abuse testing for battery systems across various applications, including automotive and aeronautic sectors. Research interests encompass battery safety throughout the value chain and lifecycle, alongside contributions to battery safety standards and regulations. Prior experience includes roles as a Battery Developer at E-stone Batteries, focusing on Fe/S electrode development, and as a Doctoral Student at CEA, where the mechanisms of silicon anodes in Li-ion batteries were studied. Arnaud BORDES holds a Master of Engineering in Electrochemistry and Material Science from Grenoble INP - Phelma, a PhD in Electrochemistry and Material Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University, and a BFC in Business from INSEAD. Additional internships at Georgia Institute of Technology and Saft further enhanced expertise in battery technologies.
