Fernando Ramos

Fernando Ramos is an Associate Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, and currently serves as a Senior Researcher and Coordinator of the Distributed, Parallel, and Security Systems (DPSS) Research Area at INESC-ID. They were previously an Assistant Professor at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa from 2011 to 2020 and a Supervisor at the University of Cambridge from 2006 to 2010. With a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Cambridge, they have contributed to various positions in academia and research, including as an Integrated Researcher at LASIGE and a Teaching Assistant at Universidade de Aveiro. Fernando holds an MSc in Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, where they received distinction and the best student award.
