Prior to starting Infant Sleep Scientist, founder Jessica Guy was a child development researcher for 10 years and sleep scientist for 3 years. When she became a mother, Jessica realised that the information and support given to new parents, especially as it pertained to infant sleep and development, was sorely lacking. This inspired her to use her critical research reviewing skills and immerse herself in infant sleep research as well as undertake formal Infant Sleep Educator training with Bebo Mia Inc. 

With her well-established and newfound knowledge, Jess created Infant Sleep Scientist - evidence and intuition informed support and education for parents of children aged 0-7 who want to make empowered, informed decisions about their families sleep, well-being, and development.

Our educational workshops and courses are fully evidence-based, drawing on the neurobiology of sleep, developmental neuroscience, and developmental psychology. 

Our one to one collaborative support options are fully customised because no two babies or families are the same. We employ a range of strategies based on both the science and art of sleep and parenting to optimise your rest and well-being while prioritising responsive, attachment-focused caregiving.
