Alan Carbery

Alan Carbery is currently the Head of Academic Services at the UCC Library, specializing in information literacy instruction and learning object design. They previously served as the Assistant Library Director and Associate Library Director at Champlain College, focusing on instructional outreach and curriculum support. alan also held roles at Waterford Institute of Technology as a Deputy Librarian and Assistant Librarian, where they managed eResource collections and developed information literacy programs. Their educational background includes a BA in Irish & Information Studies and an MLIS in Library & Information Science from University College Dublin, as well as an MA in Education from Waterford Institute of Technology.
