Dave Sammon

Dave Sammon is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of Information Systems, serving as a Professor at University College Cork, Ireland from September 1998 to February 2022. Throughout this tenure, Dave held various roles including Senior Lecturer, Lecturer/Researcher, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies, and Director of the MSc in Data Business, a specialized postgraduate program. Additionally, from June 2012 to April 2018, Dave served as the Director of the MSc in Data Business at the Irish Management Institute. Dave earned both a PhD and MSc in Information Systems from University College Cork, completing the doctorate in December 2007 and the master's in December 1999.
