Hannah Daly

Professor in Sustainable Energy

Hannah Daly is currently a Professor in Sustainable Energy at University College Cork and a columnist for The Irish Times, where they write a monthly column titled “At a Time of Climate Crisis.” They previously worked as a Research Associate in Energy Systems at University College London and as an Energy Modeller for the International Energy Agency. Hannah earned a Ph.D. in Energy and Transport Modelling from University College Cork and holds a BSc in Mathematical Sciences, which they are currently pursuing. Additionally, they held a University of California Visiting Scholarship focused on Sustainable Development at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
