Mark Chu is a Senior Lecturer in Italian at University College Cork, where they have served since 2022, following a previous tenure as Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Italian from 1991 to 2018. They also currently hold the position of Programme Director for the BA in World Languages. Mark earned both a BA and PhD in Italian from the University of Hull between 1978 and 1985.
