Mark McEntee

Professor (full) Diagnostic Radiography

Mark McEntee is the Vice Head of Teaching and Learning at the College of Medicine and Health and a Professor of Diagnostic Radiography at University College Cork. They serve as Vice President of the European Federation of Radiography Societies and Deputy Editor for the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences. As an Honorary Professor at the School of Health Sciences, University of Salford, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, Mark's research interests focus on radiation dose optimization, reference levels in diagnostic radiography, and breast density measurement. Mark's extensive academic background includes prior roles as Associate Dean Student Life and Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, and they have published over 100 articles in international journals.
