Professor Paul McSweeney MRIA is the Vice-President for Learning and Teaching at University College Cork, where they coordinate multiple academic programs and strategic initiatives. Holding a Personal Chair in Food Chemistry, they have a robust research profile in dairy chemistry and cheese science, co-authoring 18 books and numerous research papers with an h-index of 82. McSweeney has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Marschall Danisco International Dairy Science Award and a higher doctorate from the National University of Ireland.
