Alan Kubis

Alan Kubis is a highly experienced scientist with a robust background in mass spectrometry and materials science. Currently serving as a Mass Spectrometry Scientist at INFICON since January 2017, Alan previously held positions including Instructor at Mohawk Valley Community College and Post-Doctoral Fellow at the National Institute for Nanotechnology, where significant contributions included the investigation of carbon foulants and corrosion mechanisms. Earlier experience encompasses roles at INFICON and Regeneron Pharmaceutical, where Alan focused on improving sensor technology and supporting drug discovery processes through mass spectrometric analysis. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Virginia, a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University at Buffalo, Alan has authored multiple publications and presentations throughout a distinguished career.
