Derek Bas

Derek Bas is a Senior Staff Engineer at Infineon Technologies, where they apply their extensive expertise in physics and engineering. With a Ph.D. in Physics from West Virginia University, they have prior experience as a Scientist at Azimuth Corporation and held various engineering roles during their studies, including internships with the United States Air Force and an engineering co-op at Rockwell Collins. Derek completed a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Photonics Concentration at Michigan Technological University and an M.S. in Physics at Bowling Green State University, where they also contributed as a lecturer and lab supervisor.
