John Cook

John Cook is a Staff Engineer in Mixed-Signal Component Verification at Infineon Technologies, where they design custom test hardware and software to ensure the functionality of new integrated circuits. Previously, Cook held various roles including Designer/Founder of Madman Lighting Inc., where they created lighting kits for hobbyists, and Associate Design Engineer at Linear Technology, focusing on switch mode power supplies and micro-controllers. Cook began their career as a Software Engineer at Octave Communications before transitioning to IT at Benchmark Electronics. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Hartford. Cook has been an active member of MakeIt Labs Corp. since 2010, contributing significantly to the community through volunteer work and workshops.
