Simon Cottam

Simon Cottam is a Chartered Engineer at Infineon Technologies with extensive experience in the automotive, defence, and microelectronics sectors. Previously, Simon served as a Commanding Officer in the Royal Navy, leading the only commissioned unit in Wales and enhancing its profile within the community. Simon's roles at Infineon included Concept Engineer and Director of Design Clusters, where they were responsible for the integration of complex systems for automotive microcontrollers. Simon also contributed to standards development for automated vehicles as a Functional Safety Specialist. Simon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Open University and possesses strong project management and leadership skills.
