Simon Pfaehler

Simon Pfaehler is a Project Manager in Product & Technology Development at Infineon Technologies since April 2022, with prior experience as a Project Manager at Fraunhofer EMFT from May 2020 to March 2022. Simon achieved certification as a Certified Project Management Associate (IPMA Level D®) after professional training in project management in late 2019. Simon completed a PhD in Physics at the Technical University of Munich, where research focused on nanoscale electronic transport in hybrid organic-inorganic semiconductor devices, alongside mentoring students and presenting at international conferences. Additionally, Simon conducted research as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Alberta and held various research assistant roles at the Technical University of Munich, where expertise in semiconductor device fabrication and electrical characterization was developed. Academic qualifications also include a Diploma in Physics from the same university and a year of study at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
