Daniel Simões

Daniel Sim is a financial analyst with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, demonstrated through roles at prestigious companies such as the Economist Intelligence Unit and Google. At the Economist Intelligence Unit since June 2022, Daniel engages in financial analysis, while previously contributing to financial strategies for APAC Devices and Services at Google. Prior to that, Daniel held various positions at Lazada from July 2018 to July 2021, focusing on finance transformation, change management, and process improvement within the Regional Finance Excellence team, as well as managing client finance in the Marketplace Finance SG team. Daniel commenced a career as a finance executive at Blue Water Shipping from January 2016 to December 2017. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Murdoch University and a Diploma in Business Administration from Nanyang Polytechnic.
