Ion Gherman is a Senior Cloud Native Developer with experience in various companies.

At Infinite Lambda, Ion's current role involves implementing a recurring payment system using Apache Kafka for creating an event-driven architecture. Prior to this, at the same company, Ion worked on a gaming project where they implemented an autosuggestion API for a game management tool, handling a high amount of data and indexing it in OpenSearch. Ion also contributed to rebuilding the back-end for a digital bank at Finteck, taking charge of a new card provider integration and managing the life cycle of cards and cardholders.

Prior to that, Ion worked as a Software Developer at Planet Group International, where they also developed standalone spring services and Java plugins integrated with EMC Documentum.

Ion began their career as a Technical Support role at S.C "StarNet" and later worked as a Network Technician at 3G Telecom.
