Petyo Pahunchev has extensive experience in the field of software engineering and technology. Petyo currently serves as the Managing Director of Cloud Native Technology and Data at Infinite Lambda, where they manage a cross-functional unit and oversees engineering managers in various disciplines. Petyo is also responsible for developing and maintaining client partnerships.

Previously, Petyo worked as the VP of Engineering at Project Imagine, where they played a key role in rearchitecting the backend platform and creating a highly scalable core banking platform. Petyo also designed a performance system capable of processing thousands of transactions per second.

Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at J.P. Morgan and was involved in the launch of the Chase UK fintech challenger bank. Petyo led the architecture and development of payment-related services and developed reusable crypto services.

In their earlier career, Petyo worked at Morgan Stanley, where they held various roles as a Senior Software Engineer. Petyo developed projects within the real-time client portfolio risk system and led a small team as a scrum master and Java backend developer. Petyo also worked as a Software Engineer, focusing on a system for optimal Repo collateral allocation.

Before their time at Morgan Stanley, Petyo worked as a Data Engineering Analyst at Morgan Stanley, where they developed a real-time data streaming platform and a monitoring and alerting system for tick data.
