John Leese

John Leese has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. John most recently served as the COO at InfiniteCFO, where they focused on building full-stack finance and accounting solutions for growth companies. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Smoothwall. In 2019, they held the position of Chief Financial & Operations Officer at Crisp, a private equity backed business specializing in social media moderation and brand protection services. John also served as the CFO at CloudPay, a private equity backed cloud-based provider of integrated global payroll and payments, where they had a broad operational remit and was responsible for various departments. Before that, they held multiple Board Advisor and CFO positions in entrepreneurial technology businesses. John also worked as a Finance Director at Claranet and served as the CFO and Joint CEO at STAR TECHNOLOGY SERVICES LIMITED, where they played a key role in the company's buyout and subsequent sale. John started their career as a Senior Audit Manager at EY and Auditor at Deloitte. Overall, John Leese has extensive experience in finance and operations, particularly in the technology sector.

John Leese attended the University of Leicester from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics. John then pursued further education at ICAEW from 1990 to 1993, where they achieved the title of Chartered Accountant with first-time passes.
