Yoshi Oritatsu is a proficient engineer with diverse experience across multiple roles and companies. Currently serving as a Member of the Technical Team at Infinitus Systems, Inc. since June 2023, Yoshi previously held positions at SoundHound from April 2017 to February 2023, advancing from Software Engineer to Staff Engineer, where responsibilities included leading development for applications targeting the restaurant market and mentoring engineers. Yoshi has a strong background in performance optimization and played a crucial role in addressing ASR issues for major automakers. Prior experience includes managing structural engineering projects at Liftech Consultants from July 2008 to June 2016, where Yoshi contributed to developing an earthquake protection system for cranes and integrated innovative simulation technologies. Yoshi was also involved in earthquake reconnaissance activities with ASCE/COPRI, documenting findings from the 2011 Great Tohoku earthquake. Yoshi holds an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Civil Engineering from the same institution, in addition to completing education at Hack Reactor.
