David Singer is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist who has led private investments at Maverick Ventures since 2004. They previously served as the founding CEO of Affymetrix, Corcept Therapeutics, and Genesoft Pharmaceuticals. David earned a B.A. in History from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University, where they are currently a Lecturer. They are also a Vice Chair of College Track and have been recognized on Forbes’ Midas List in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Additionally, David served as a Health Commissioner for the City of San Francisco.
