Ion Sandu

Ion Sandu is a Senior Researcher at the National Institute for Lasers, Plasma, and Radiation Physics, where they have worked since 1999. They specialize in nanoparticle synthesis by laser pyrolysis, nanoparticle/surface interactions, Raman Spectroscopy, composite materials, colloids, and self-assembly. Ion holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Condensed Matter from the University of Bucharest, obtained between 2000 and 2006. Additionally, Ion has served as a Doctor at INFLPR and was involved in research as a physicist at MATPUR from 1995 to 1999.
