Sofia Shehana Basheer

Sofia Shehana Basheer is a Senior Analyst specializing in Oil & Gas at InfluenceMap since August 2021. Previously, Sofia served as a Climate Change Policy Analyst and held research internships at Brookings India and Columbia University in the City of New York. Sofia also gained experience as a Policy Intern at the Ministry of External Affairs in India. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in International History from Columbia University, an MSc in International History from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master's degree in Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
